If youre not sure which stamp will best fit your needs, the Stamp Design Wizard will help you determine which stamp will best fit your specifications.
A blank template, ready for customization, will appear on the screen. To create a regular address stamp, the defaults are kept (three lines, Arial Font, 12-point, center-justified) and custom text is entered.
The Preview / Update button is clicked to view the customized stamp.
This font style just isnt exciting enough for the name of the store, The Pirate Ship, so a different font is selected. A side-by-side view of all available fonts:
Exotic 350 looks pirate-y, and all the lines are updated to this font.
We also want the first line to stand out, so this font size is increased.
Font sizes are equivalent to those found in Microsoft Word; a 12-point font = 1/8 inch tall letters, a 24-point font = 1/4 inch tall letters, a 48-point font = 1/2 inch tall letters, etc.
The Preview / Update button is clicked and the custom stamp changes can be viewed in real-time.
The Continue button is clicked to see what stamps will best fit this design:
There are three different stamps that will fit this design. Click on any of these stamps to see its details and add it to the shopping cart with the customized text.
We decide not to add it to the cart; however, because weve forgotten to add the companys website to the stamp. We click the Back button in our internet browser to continue customizing.
We decide that we want six lines of text.
The extra text is entered and the Preview / Update button is clicked.
We really want the website to stand out, so we increase the font size of the online invitation to a 32-point font and click the Preview / Update button.
Looks good, so the "Continue" button is clicked.
Oops! There was too much text entered and no stamps fit our specifications. Take a close look at the small text below the most recent preview; it states that our stamp is 1.71 x 6.29. The widest stamp that RubberStamps.Net is currently able to offer is 6. We hit the Back button on our browser and decrease the font size from 32 points to 28 points and click the Preview / Update button again.
Now we can see that the small text indicates that the stamp is only 5.5.
The Continue button is clicked and there is only one stamp large enough for this design.
We click on this stamp to view its details.
Now this customized stamp can be added to the shopping cart!
